Bonnie Schneider is meteorologist appearing on the various platforms of CNN as well as HLN. She is also the on-camera expert and co-executive producer of an upcoming TV show on the DIY NETWORK, called THE LAST HOUSE STANDING which debuted on March 30, 2012. Her book EXTREME WINTER was released by Palgrave Macmillan, on 31 January 2012. Her website promoting her multi-city book tour beginning Feburary 1, 2012 in Boston, media appearances and video chat is BonnieWeather.com [[1]] In August, 2011 during coverage of Hurricane Irene, Schneider's book was featured on HLN's popular prime time show, Special Report with Vinnie Politan Prior her work on CNN that began in the summer of 2005, Schneider has also been the Weekend Meteorologist/Special Assignment Reporter for "The Ten O'Clock News" on WLVI-TV WB56 in Boston. Schneider also covered lifestyle, entertainment and other issues as Special Assignment Reporter on a daily basis while working in Boston. She was employed at WFOR-TV as a meteorologist on weekends prior to moving over to WB56. She held various reports and meteorology jobs, such as News 12 Long Island (a 24-hour cable television news network) and WXII TV in Winston-Salem. When she was in New York City, she served as a weatherman fill-in for The Saturday Early Show for CBS.
